Netflix on your Game Console

I've been using my new Xbox360 primarily for the Netfix feature since I spend most of my gaming time on the PS3. It's great to have hundreds of free movies to pick from right on your dashboard plus the new releases on DVD they send you. I've got the basic $8.95 membership that includes unlimited instant access plus one DVD at a time. I think the packages go all the way up to sending six DVDs at a time. Either way it beats on-demand prices from the cable company or having to wait for something decent to come on HBO, etc. You should check it out if you watch a lot of movies.

Oh yeah, Playstation Network just added the Netflix feature for PS3. You just have to sign up for membership and they send you a disc that you have to run while streaming video content. It's a little more complicated than Xbox360, but still worth it in my opinion.

I was thinking about that too, but maybe if they start releasing blu ray files, I might think about signing up, I'm crazy about blu ray.

They do have Blu Ray titles. You just have to request the format in your settings when you pick the titles they send you.

BluRay is like $2.00 a month extra though.

Netfix is coming to Wii soon as well.

Well, instant video streaming from Netflix is now available on Wii. It's disc based like with PS3.
